The Youth, Peace and Security Network of Finland elected a new Steering Committee for 2026 at its meeting on 25 November 2025. In addition, four working groups were established, all of which are open for new members throughout the year.
The Network is chaired by Anthony Fedorov who works as the Secretary-General of UN Youth Finland and coordinated the Network’s activities in 2024–2025. The Vice-Chair is Annika Termonen who served on the Steering Committee in 2025 as the Events Coordinator.
The other members of the Steering Committee are:
- Alma Mlivić, Secretary and Member Organisation Liaison
- Eeva Ferrer, Member responsible for Technology
- Laura Hurskainen, Member responsible for Peace Education
- Hanna Höijer, Member responsible for Climate and Environment
- Pinja Suorsa, Member responsible for Protection of Young People
In 2026, the Network will host four thematic working groups that produce and share knowledge related to their respective focus areas. All interested participants are welcome to join the working groups at any point during the year.
The themes of the working groups are:
- Technology
- Peace Education
- Climate and Environment
- Protection of Young People
